March Pond Seasonal Drawdown

March Pond has not had a seasonal drawdown or inspection in a few years.  This was brought to the attention of Fish and Game when a resident asked about the timing of a drawdown to repair his wall. We were contacted earlier this month to schedule the inspection and due to availability, we anticipate the inspection will occur on or about October 1st.  The drawdown guidelines state the three boards would be removed to bring the water level down 2 feet to the top of the concrete dam.  Due to the extremely dry weather the water level is already down 16 inches.  The remaining 8 inches will be drawn down as follows, 2 inches will be drawn down on September 23rd when the State confirms the date of the inspection.  We anticipate the remaining 6 inches to be drawn down on Monday the 29th.
